In collaboration with Canadian Digital Visual Artist Adam Jarvis (aka: Vectorvault) and global music network iLive NFT, comes a revolutionary series of Non-Fungible Tokens. Each is inspired by the music and career of Omar Lyefook MBE. The first release is the Alpha.

Over the span of his 30+ year career, UK soul pioneer Omar Lyefook, MBE (simply “Omar” to his fans) has released eight critically acclaimed studio albums.

1994’s legendary album For Pleasure is a Neo Soul Classic that opens with a minute-long teaser of a song entitled, “My Baby Says.” Although intended for release in its entirety on the following album, Omar decided to hold it back, and the full piece remained unreleased and unheard for over 27 years.

This exquisitely crafted NFT, was officially authorized by Omar Lyefook MBE to be minted on his behalf by Vectorvault. It was listed for sale on Rariable on July 14, 2021. It was sold the next day by “Q” of NFT Aficionado.

All of the design and production was done in Canada. To keep the business close to home and to showcase the craftsmanship and care that Canadians put into projects like this one.
