This is the last painting I ever produced.
The original is 6 feet by 4 feet and proudly hangs on the wall in my home.
When my wife and I were first married, we shared a small apartment.
While we waited for our first home to be built, I painted this.
It took 3 months. She posed. I painted.
This painting is very special to us both.
It crystalizes the optimism and love in our lives at the time.
This piece was done in acrylic and ink on canvas.
I also used pencil crayons to sketch in line art and shapes over top of the paint.
The original has a reflective gloss.
Painted in the year 2003.
