This digital artwork was created using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Manually moving multiple elements individually one at a at time to produce a traditional animation effect.
The original for this piece was donated to an NFT art group in exchange for promotion in the form of an interview on Clubhouse. That group accepted the art but did not fulfil their obligation to interview me. I sat back and watched them promote other artists and inquired several times about putting a spotlight on my work. When my requests were unanswered, I asked for my art back and they refused.
This piece is a new version of that art. But at its heart is a strong lesson. Not only about the ethical character of many in the NFT community, but also a cautionary tale about trust. This experience has swayed me from repeating my mistakes.
