This week we discovered the NFT artwork of Chris Labrooy. This piece in particular really captured our attention. Before we knew it, the entire Vectorvault team was exploring his diverse portfolio of commercial and artistic work. Each blurs the lines between gravity, colour, texture and shape. This Porche 964 reclining in a pool, does not seem out of place. In fact, it is very much where it’s supposed to be.
This one-of-a-kind VFX masterpiece is certified unique on the SuperRare blockchain. As the value of it increases over time, the provenance (digital historical record of ownership) travels with it. As an owner, you become a part of this unique digital work’s story. Forever.

After graduating from the RCA with an MA in design products, Chris first began to use 3D as a simple tool to visualise ideas for furniture and products. As 3D technology and hardware evolved, Chris saw an opportunity to explore CGI as a creative medium in itself with which he could subvert and twist familiar everyday things into new typographic and sculptural forms. Chris is interested in the intersection between typography, architecture, product design and visual art.,
