North York General Foundation Direct Mail Postcards

I was tasked with designing 3 separate paper holiday ornaments for the North York General Foundation; each needed to fit in a standard envelope, be easy to assemble and look festive. This was created for a direct mail fundraiser in support of the hospital.

These were used in a direct mail campaign that targeted North York and the surrounding areas. It complimented a successful fundraising season.

Structural Design by Structural Devine.

This cute little house fit on a postcard and was easy to add Vectorvault vector illustrations to it. This same vector cut file template was created in CAD and then transmitted to Adobe Illustrator.

Each used the same 3 colours from the NYGH branding. Instructions printed on the to right and a call to action that continued the story.

We bring them out every Holiday Season and place them on a small ledge with some Battery powered tea lights lights.. This small trio is a reminder to us about how important it is to help people. And to be grateful to those who serve in health care.

Both of my kids were very young when I designed these. Over the years, NYGH has helped us many times as a family. There is a sentiment behind every little door.

East to assemble. Even came with a hole so that you could hang it like an ornament.

I happen to live close to NYGH. So you can imagine the thrill of seeing a set of these arrive in the mail at our home. I was given a chance to not only help, but experience the act of receiving it. In all, several thousand of my neighbours found these postcards in their mailboxes.

I was given an opportunity to touch people in a localized audience with my vector art. All of it was created in Adobe illustrator and CAD. A great deal of love and care went into every aspect of it’s design and delivery.

A fulfilling project. Built entirely out of Vectorvault Vectors.
